April continues to be a very busy month. With gas at an all time high and so many other places where the cost of living going up in costs, we continue to get what seems to be a record number of request for assistance. We have had a number of families and individuals who have had a fire resulting in loss over the past few weeks. We are working with these families to provide some assistance during this time of loss.
Let me remind each of you about our Kroger Gift Card program. In order for this program to be successful you must get your Kroger Gift Card from Tipton Cares, Inc. Each time you reload your Kroger Gift Card, Tipton Cares, Inc. gets 5% of the total loaded on each card. You can use your Kroger Gift Card at any Kroger location and the card can be used for both gas and groceries. New Thrift Store Hours for April 2008. God has been good and has sent us the volunteers that we need to increase the hours that the Thrift Store is open. Our new hours are: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday open 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Friday & Saturday open 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. We will continue to be closed on Wednesday & Sunday. Want to volunteer? Call us for more information.
