Dog Days Of Summer!

Maybe you have heard of the "Dog Days of Summer". Don't let summer get you down, school will be starting very soon. We are very thankful for the young people who have volunteered to spend six or more weeks working at Tipton Cares this summers. They have been a great help! We are looking for more volunteers. We need individuals to volunteer or get a group together, schedule at time and come and volunteer with us at Tipton Cares. Maybe you want to volunteer in your neighborhood or in your church. Let's have a "Food Drive" in your neighborhood. Contact us by e-mail at tiptoncares@gmail.com or at 901-840-2273 to volunteer. It's not difficult to have a "Food Drive" in your church or your neighborhood. It's exciting and rewarding to know that you have had a part in helping your neighbors. When you go to the pantry and see an abundance of good food, please don't forget to think about your neighbors in Tipton County who may not be as fortunate. Working together we can provide "Emergency Food Boxes" to those who need them. Tipton Cares come and see for yourself how it works. Volunteer and get involved before someone else gets your volunteer opportunity. Maybe your co-workers want to volunteers too. We could not do all that we do without our Volunteers.
